James has had many triumphs with the highlight being voted man of the match against Somerset in the Nat West One Day Trophy when he scored a century. James also bowls right arm leg spin and has taken a number of useful wickets. James plays his club cricket at Shifnal in the Birmingham & District League Premier Division. James took over the captaincy of the County in June, following the resignation of Tim Hancock and led the side throughout the 2007 Championship season. His batting in the Birmingham League saw him top the averages in 2007. |
