A right-handed attacking batsman capable of contributing important runs in the middle order, Shifnal all-rounder Ross, appointed captain of Shropshire’s Twenty20 side ahead of the 2019 season, also bowls right-arm fast medium.
He made his Championship debut for Shropshire against Herefordshire at Shifnal in 2014 with his first one-day game the following year against Cumberland at Shrewsbury.
Ross played for the Unicorns representative side during the 2017 season and has also featured in second team cricket for both Worcestershire and Northamptonshire.
He previously played club cricket for Wellington, Wolverhampton and Worfield.
Ross scored his maiden century for Shropshire when he made 126 in the first innings of the Championship match against Herefordshire at Eastnor in July 2018, putting on 269 for the fifth wicket with Alexei Kervezee.
He received his county cap ahead of the final Championship match of the 2018 season against Devon, which was his 50th first team appearance for Shropshire in all formats.
