Shropshire’s two T20 matches against Cumbria abandoned owing to the weather

Shropshire’s two scheduled matches in the National Counties Cricket Association’s T20 competition against Cumbria at Netherfield CC today (Sunday) were abandoned without a ball bowled owing to the wet weather.

With no play possible, both teams collected two points, one each for the two abandoned fixtures.

Shropshire will hope for better weather tomorrow (Monday) when they face Northumberland twice in two T20 matches at Whitchurch CC, with the opening game starting at 11am.

Admission is free for spectators to watch both matches.
